The Problem
The $6B provenance gap
High-value assets — fine art, gemstones, real property, intellectual property rights — depend on paper certificates and centralized databases for provenance. These systems are fragile, forgeable, and not designed to survive quantum computing. The $1.7 trillion global art market alone loses an estimated $6B annually to forgery and provenance fraud.
Current Landscape
Paper records. Siloed CMS databases. Classical cryptography. No portable proof of custody. Verification requires intermediaries.
The Quantum Threat
Harvest-now, decrypt-later attacks already underway. NIST finalized PQC standards in 2024. Most custody infrastructure has no migration path.
The Solution
QSafe Custodial Registry
A quantum-resistant custodial registry that issues tamper-evident, cryptographically signed provenance records for real-world assets. Records are anchored to blockchain, field-level selectively disclosable, and vault-agnostic — compatible with HSMs, TEEs, and MPC custody infrastructure.
Go-To-Market
White-label deployment via gallery CMS partners. Artlogic as the initial wedge — accessing their established gallery network as a customer acquisition multiplier without direct sales overhead.
Phase Architecture
Phase 1: MVP prototype built and demonstrable. Base/Coinbase blockchain integration underway.
Fine art is the wedge. The architecture extends to gemstones, real property titles, IP rights, and any high-value asset class requiring verifiable custody.
Enterprise Partnerships
GK8 cold vault custody — partnership approval pending funding completion. Enterprise-grade custody without building proprietary HSM infrastructure.
Intellectual Property
Five novel claim areas
Prior art search confirms no existing patent combines these elements for real-world asset provenance. The combination is the moat.
Vault-Agnostic Trusted Module Protocol Novel
Pluggable HSM/TEE/MPC interface — any custody infrastructure, no lock-in
Quantum-Safe Cryptography Novel
DILITHIUM3, FALCON, SPHINCS+ — NIST FIPS 204/205 compliant migration path
Selective Disclosure Novel
Field-level privacy controls — show valuation to insurer, hide from public
